Beautiful MisChler Park
Mischler Park is located within the village and is a popular location for community activities and family reunions.
The park is one full block in size and is located on Main Street. Restrooms are available. Park hours are from sunrise to 9:00 p.m.
Over many years, the Village of Deer Creek has reforested Mischler Park through its Trees: Today & Tomorrow project. Come to Mischler Park at the corner of Park Ave. and Main Street to see a variety of trees native to Central Illinois.
In 2022, the village installed a splash pad to help beat the summer heat. It has been quite a hit for DC residents and neighboring communities too! Splash pad hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
